Ermagerd nom nom meatloaf recipe details
This meatloaf is a derivation of Dads Marvelous Meatloaf. Instead of using just ground beef, it uses ground beef and pork sausage, which adds a lot of moisture. The celery adds texture and soaks up some of the fat.

Ingredients
Serves: 5- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 pound pork sausage
- 1/2 onion, diced
- 3 celery stalks, diced
- 1 egg
- 6 to 8 saltine crackers, crushed
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- salt and pepper to taste
Preparation method
Prep: 10 mins | Cook: 2 hours1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Prepare a loaf pan by forming aluminum foil around the inside of the pan.
2. Mix the ground beef, pork sausage, onion, celery stalks, egg, saltine crackers, breadcrumbs, cumin, onion powder, garlic powder, salt and pepper together, mixing everything with your hands until everything is incorporated.
3. Place the meat mixture in the prepared pan and form into a loaf shape. Place in the oven.
4. Cook the meatloaf for 1 hour and 40 minutes, until internal temperature is at 170 degrees F. Remove the loaf from the oven, cut, and serve
