Easy Pepper Sauce recipe

Ingredients
170 ml | milk |
2 tbsp | gravy granules (bisto) |
½ tbsp | black pepper, very coarsely ground |
butter |
Instructions
Bring about half of the milk to a simmer, but do not allow to boil. Add bisto gravy granules to the remaining cold milk and whisk a little, then stir into the hot milk. Stir until thoroughly mixed in. Bring back to simmer, again do not allow to boil. Stir in pepper and allow to thicken. Whisk in a small knob of butter just before serving.
