Ingredients
1 kg | apples, cored and peeled |
100 g | flour, sifted |
100 g | sugar |
1 tsp | baking powder |
½ tsp | salt |
1 medium | egg |
70 g | butter, melted |
½ tsp | cinnamon |
Instructions
Butter a square baking dish and arrange sliced apples in the prepared baking dish.
In a bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and egg. Mix well using an electric mixer.
Sprinkle mixture over apples. Drizzle melted butter evenly over crumb mixture and lastly sprinkle with cinnamon.
Bake at 180°C for 30 to 40 minutes.
Serving suggestion:Serve warm on its own or with ice cream or whipped cream.
