Ingredients
Serves: 4- 1 cup sugar
- 2 (5 ounce) cans evaporated milk
- 1/2 cup baking cocoa
- 4 (1-ounce) squares unsweetened chocolate, chopped
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Preparation method
Prep: 5 mins | Cook: 15 mins1. Stir sugar and 5 ounces evaporated milk together in a saucepan and place over medium-low heat until sugar has dissolved.
2. In a bowl, beat the cocoa into the second 5 ounce can of evaporated milk. Then add to the saucepan.
3. When mixture boils, add remaining chocolate and butter. Turn off the heat and stir. When chocolate has melted, whisk in the vanilla extract; pour into fondue pot.
4. Serve with cubed pound cake, fruit, and long forks for dipping.
