Debi's favorite egg casserole recipe details
- Ingredients:
- 6 eggs
- 2 cups milk
- 2 slices white bread, cubed
- 1 Tablespoon dry mustard
- 1 Tablespoon salt
- 1 pound sausage
- 1 cup grated cheese
Precook sausage and drain. Set aside. Mix eggs, milk, salt, and mustard together. Add cubed bread and stir. Add cheese and sausage. Pour mixture into a greased 9 x 13 x 2-inch pan and let stand in refrigerator overnight.
Bake uncovered at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 45 minutes, uncovered. Cut into squares.
Variations: Add sourdough bread in place of white bread. Add ham and/or mushrooms.
