Creamy paprika pork recipe details
Ingredients
1 tsp | oil |
225 g | lean pork leg or shoulder steaks, cut into small cubes |
50 g | Chorizo sausage, sliced |
1 clove(s) | garlic, crushed |
1 | onion, sliced |
1 large can(s) | tomatoes, 400g, chopped |
2 tsp | paprika |
4 tbsp | Greek yoghurt |
fresh parsley, chopped |
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 160°C/145°C Fan/Gas 3. Heat the oil in a large pan and cook the pork and chorizo sausage for 3-4 minutes until browned.Add the garlic and onion and cook for a further 3-4 minutes.
Add chopped tomatoes and paprika, then place in the oven and cook for 1-1.5 hours, until the pork is tender.
Carefully stir through the Greek yoghurt, sprinkle over the parsley and a dusting of paprika and serve with steamed green beans and mashed parsnips (boil them until tender and mash them with lots of black pepper and a knob of butter).
