Corn bread ole details
- Ingredients:
- 1-1/2 sticks butter
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 4 eggs
- One 4-ounce can green chiles, chopped
- One 16-ounce can creamed-style corn
- 1/2 cup each Monterey Jack and cheddar cheese
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup corn meal
- 4 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Cream together butter, sugar and eggs. Add green chiles, corn and cheeses. Mix together and add flour, corn meal, baking powder, and salt. Pour into an 8 x 12 x 2-inch baking dish. Preheat oven to 350 degrees, but bake at 300 degrees for approximately 70 minutes.
