Instructions
Melt butter in a medium saucepan over low heat. Add onions and sauté until they start to brown, about 10 minutes. Add sugar and sauté until shallots are golden brown, about 10 minutes.Add vinegar and bring to a boil, 2 minutes. Add both stock and continue ccoking until liquid is reduced to 300ml, about 25 minutes. Strain.
