Chocolate chewies recipe details
Ingredients
900 g | confectioner’s sugar |
170 g | cocoa powder |
12 large | eggs, whites only |
1 tsp | salt |
1 tsp | vanilla extract |
walnuts, chopped coarsley |
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 200°C and line cookie sheets with parchment paper.In a bowl combine confectioners’ sugar, cocoa powder, salt, vanilla, and egg whites until well blended. Gently fold in chopped nuts.
Scoop out portions of dough using an ice cream scoop or drop dough by tablespoonfuls onto prepared baking sheets.
Bake for about 12 – 14 minutes until the centres of cookies are just set, slightly firm to touch.
Chocolate Chewies can be stored up to a week.
