Chocolate biscuits with redcurrant filling recipe details
Ingredients
250 g | soft butter |
100 g | icing sugar |
300 g | flour |
80 g | chocolate icing |
2 medium | egg whites |
jelly glaze | |
redcurrant jam |
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 180°C.In a bowl, cream together the butter, sugar and the egg whites. Stir in the melted chocolate icing. Stir until well combined. Pour the batter into a freezer bag. Cut off one corner.
Press little batter heaps onto a lined baking tray. Bake for 8-10 minutes. Allow to cool.
Brush the bottom of the biscuits with the jam and stick together every 2 biscuits. Dip the biscuits to half into melted jelly glaze and allow to dry on a wire rack.
