Chicken penne with creamy tomato and basil sauce recipe details
This wonderfully aromatic sauce will having your family running to the dinner table. Serve in a nice bowl with a little fresh basil or parsley as garnish.

Ingredients
Serves: 4- 2 Tbl spoons Butter
- 2 Tbl spoons Olive Oil
- 3 Cloved minced garlic
- 1 diced White Onion
- 1 pound Chicken 1″ cubed
- 3/4 cup Dry White Wine or Chicken Stock
- 8oz can of tomato sauce
- 1 cup of heavy cream
- 1 Tbl spoon finely chopped fresh parsley
- 2 or 3 Tbl spoons finely chopped fresh basil
- 1 box of cooked Penne Pasta
Preparation method
Prep: 10 mins | Cook: 20 mins1. Add butter and olive oil to a medium sized sauce pan.
2. On med/high heat melt butter.
3. Add garlic and saute briefly.
4. Add the onion to the pan and saute until tender.
5. Add the chicken and cook about half way.
6. Add white wine or chicken stock and cook the chicken completely.
7. Add tomato sauce and mix together.
8. Lower the temperature to medium, add heavy cream and stir together.
9. Add parsley and basil, integrate into the sauce, and let simmer for a couple minutes.
10. Combine pasta into sauce pan and mix.
