Caviar pie recipe details
Ingredients
300 g caviar |
2 large onions, chopped |
8 large eggs, hard boiled |
60 g mayonnaise |
250 g cream cheese |
240 ml sour cream |
Instructions
Spread the onion on paper towels to drain. In a bowl or blender mince the eggs and combine with mayonnaise. Set aside.
In a separate bowl beat together the cream cheese and sour cream. Set aside.
Lightly coat a spring form pan with butter.
Spread the egg and mayonnaise mixture evenly over the bottom and sprinkle the onions on top. Spread the cream cheese mixture by spoonfuls atop the onion layer. Cover and refrigerate for at least 3 hours.
Before serving, gently spread the caviar over the cream cheese layer in a decorative design.
