Broccoli cheese & egg bake recipe details
- Ingredients
- 2 cups of grated Swiss cheese
- 1/4 cup of Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup of Monterey Jack or Colby cheese
- 5 large eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 teaspoon white pepper
- 1 cup broccoli, cut into small pieces
- chives, to taste
- Cottage Dill Bread or any other herb bread
Preheat oven 350 degrees. Butter 4 individual casserole dishes and place in the bottom of each a slice of bread. Divide the broccoli, Swiss, Monterey Jack, or Colby and Parmesan cheeses between the casserole dishes. In a medium bowl beat together with a wire whisk the eggs, milk, white pepper and chives. Divide among the casserole dishes. Cube several slices of bread and divide among the dishes. Place on a cookie sheet and place in a preheated oven for 20 minutes or until the eggs are set and the cubes of bread are browned.
