Blueberry Tart recipe
Ingredients
For the dough: | |
200 g | flour |
120 g | butter |
60 g | sugar |
pinch(es) | salt |
For the filling: | |
250 g | curd cheese |
50 ml | cream |
1 | egg |
5 tbsp | sugar |
½ packet(s) | instant vanilla pudding mix, about 20g |
pinch(es) | salt |
400 g | blueberries |
Instructions
Cut butter into little pieces. In a bowl mix together the flour, sugar, butter and salt. Combine all ingredients until you have a soft dough. Place dough on floured surface and knead lightly together. Roll dough into a ball and chill in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.
With your hands press dough thinly into greased tart dish. Prick well and bake at 180°C for 10 minutes or until just turning golden brown.
For the filling in a bowl mix curd cheese, cream, egg, sugar, pudding mix and salt. Add the blueberries and pour mixture onto the dough and bake for further 25 minutes.
