Black and white cake recipe details
Ingredients
300 g | sugar |
1 pack(s) | vanilla sugar |
5 medium | eggs, separated |
375 g | flour |
½ pack(s) | baking powder |
⅛ l | warm water |
¼ l | oil |
2 tbsp | cocoa powder |
Instructions
Mix together the sugar, egg yolks and the vanilla sugar until creamy. Stir in the oil and the water. Sift in the flour and the baking powder. Whisk the egg whites until stiff. Fold into the dough. Separate the dough into two parts.Preheat the oven to 180°C.
Stir the cocoa powder into one half. Layer spoonfuls of the black and the white dough into a buttered cake from, starting from the middle. Layer spoonfuls of the dough unitl everything is used up. Bake for 50-60 minutes.
