Beef steak with french bean salad recipe details
Ingredients
| 150 g | French beans |
| salt and freshly ground black pepper | |
| 1 | shallot, chopped |
| 2 tbsp | raspberry vinegar |
| 2 tbsp | oil |
| 50 g | red currant |
| 20 g | Feta cheese, crumbled |
| 150 g | beef sirloin steak |
Instructions
Cook the beans in generously salted water for 10 minutes, then drain, rinse with ice-cold water and drain again.Mix together the shallot, vinegar and half of the oil. Season with salt and pepper. In a bowl, combine the beans with the red currant and the cheese. Drizzle over the vinaigrette and toss gently.
In a pan heat the remaining oil. Fry the steak from both sides for 2-4 minutes or until desired doneness. Season with salt and pepper. Remove from the pan and cover with aluminium foil. Allow to stand for a few minutes.
Serve the steak with the bean salad.
