Basler brunsli recipe details
Ingredients
200 g | sugar |
250 g | ground almond |
2 tbsp | flour |
1 pinch(es) | cinnamon |
2 medium | eggs, whites only |
100 g | dark chocolate |
some | sugar for decoration |
Instructions
Mix sugar, almond, flour and cinnamon in a bowl. Beat egg whites stiff and add. Melt chocolate in water bath – over boiling water – and mix into dough.Roll out dough between plastic bags or on sugar approximately 8 mm thick. Cut out flower stars. Dry for 6 hours.
Then bake for approximately 4 minutes at 240°C, let cool out and sprinkle with sugar.
