Banana Rice recipe

|120 g||short grain rice|
|1 pack(s)||vanilla sugar|
|2||ripe bananas, diced|
|250 g||fresh strawberries, hulled|
Melt the butter in a saucepan. Add 120ml of water, bring to a boil and add the rice. Simmer for about 5 minutes. Add the milk, bring to the boil again and cook for another 20 minutes or until the rice is very soft and the milk soaked up. Add a pinch of salt and the vanilla sugar. Fold the bananas in the rice.
Puree the strawberries in a blender. Leave the strawberry sauce plain or season to taste with lemon juice and sugar.
Serve the banana rice with the strawberry sauce.
Use overripe bananas for this recipe, so you get rid of leftovers and they are so sweet that you don’t need to sweeten the rice with more sugar.
