Banana oatmeal cookies recipe details
Ingredients
240 g | sugar |
240 g | brown sugar |
250 g | margarine, low fat |
2 | egg whites |
1 tsp | vanilla extract |
500 g | flour |
1 tsp | baking powder |
1 tsp | ground cloves |
1 tsp | ground cinnamon |
3 | ripe bananas, mashed |
400 g | rolled oats |
240 g | chocolate chips |
5 tsp | salt |
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 190°C.In a large bowl, cream together white and brown sugar, margarine, vanilla and egg whites. Stir in flour, baking powder, salt, cloves and cinnamon. Fold in the mashed bananas, the rolled oats and the chocolate chips until well blended.
Drop spoonfuls of the mixture about 5cm apart of each other onto a lined baking sheet. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until golden brown.
