Ingredients

240 g sugar
240 g brown sugar
250 g margarine, low fat
2  egg whites
1 tsp vanilla extract
500 g flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp ground cloves
1 tsp ground cinnamon
3  ripe bananas, mashed
400 g rolled oats
240 g chocolate chips
5 tsp salt

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 190°C.

In a large bowl, cream together white and brown sugar, margarine, vanilla and egg whites. Stir in flour, baking powder, salt, cloves and cinnamon. Fold in the mashed bananas, the rolled oats and the chocolate chips until well blended.

Drop spoonfuls of the mixture about 5cm apart of each other onto a lined baking sheet. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until golden brown.
