Banana nut cheesecake recipe details
Ingredients
100 g | chocolate biscuits, cumbled |
60 g | butter, melted |
500 g | cream cheese |
100 g | granulated sugar |
4 | bananas, mashed |
1 tsp | vanilla extract |
2 large | eggs |
20 g | walnuts, chopped |
80 g | chocolate chips |
1 tbsp | butter |
Instructions
Preheat oven to 180°C.Combine crumbled biscuits and butter, mix well, and press into the bottom of a springform. Bake for 10 minutes. Remove from oven and set aside.
In a large bowl, combine cream cheese, sugar, bananas and vanilla. Mix until smooth and creamy. Beat in eggs, one at a time. Mix after each addition. Fold in half of the walnuts.
Pour mixture into the baked crust and sprinkle with remaining walnuts.
Return to the oven and bake 30-40 minutes, until almost set. Remove from the oven and leave to cool.
Melt chocolate chips and 1 tbsp butter in the microwave and whisk until combined. Drizzle chocolate over the cheesecake.
Refrigerate at least 2 hours before serving.
