Baked eggs with cheese and herbs recipe details
- Ingredients
- 7 eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 2 teaspoons sugar
- 2 cups shredded Jarlsburg cheese
- 4 ounces cubed cream cheese
- 1 pound small-curd cottage cheese
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- Oregano and rosemary (dried or fresh)
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
Beat together eggs, milk, and sugar. Add cheeses, melted butter, and herbs and mix well. Add flour and baking powder. Pour into a 13 x 9-inch baking dish sprayed with non-stick coating.
Bake approximately 45 minutes at 325 degrees if using glass pan (or 350 degrees in a metal pan). Bake until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
May be made ahead of time and refrigerated.
