Baked chocolate fudge pudding recipe details
- Ingredients
- 3 Tablespoons shortening or margarine
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 cup flour
- 1-1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup cocoa
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1-1/2 cups boiling water
Cream together shortening/margarine and sugar. Sift together flour, baking powder, and salt. Add dry ingredients to creamed mixturealternately with 1/2 cup of milk. Fold in 1/2 cup chopped nuts. Put batter into ungreased 9-inch baking pan.
Mix together brown sugar, cocoa, and salt. Sprinkle over top of batter. Do not stir. Pour 1-1/2 cups boiling water over all. Bake at 350 for 40 to 45 minutes. Serve with whipped cream or ice cream. Best served warm.
