Baked apples with chocolate glaze recipe details
Ingredients
4 | apples, cored |
2 tbsp | lemon juice |
100 g | almond biscuits |
3 tbsp | coconut liqueur |
4 tbsp | almonds, chopped finely |
2 tbsp | nougat spread |
200 g | dark chocolate, chopped |
Instructions
Soak the almond biscuits in the coconut liqueur. Roast the almonds in a dry pan until golden.Combine the biscuits with the almonds and the nougat spread and stir until smooth.
Preheat the oven to 180°C.
Pour lemon juice into the cored apples, then stuff the apples with the almond mixture. Place the apples side by side into a casserole dish and bake for about 30 minutes.
In the meantime melt the chocolate in a double boiler.
Place the baked apples on dessert plates and glaze with the melted chocolate.
