Apricot salsa recipe details
Ingredients
salt and pepper | |
5 | apricots, stoned removed, halved and sliced |
1 | red onion, chopped |
1 tbsp | oil |
chilli flakes, to taste | |
1 tbsp | white wine vinegar or to taste |
1 tbsp | brown sugar or to taste |
Instructions
In a saucepan heat the oil. Sauté the onion until lucent. Add the apricots and bring to a boil over low heat. Season to taste with sugar, salt, pepper, vinegar and chilli flakes. Simmer over low heat for 10 minutes. Fill into a bowl and let cool down completely.Goes well with chicken or any kind of poultry.
