Apricot Compote recipe
Ingredients
650 g | apricots, halved, pitted, sliced |
200 g | sugar |
240 ml | water |
240 ml | dry white wine |
2 tsp | grated orange peel |
Instructions
Combine sugar, water, wine and orange peel in a sauce pan over low heat. Stir until sugar dissolves and then bring to a boil. Add apricots and leave on a simmer until fruit is tender, about 5 minutes.
Transfer to bowl and chill in the refrigerator for about 2 hours.
