Apples in puff pastry recipe details
Ingredients
30 g | butter |
1 tbsp | sugar |
2 tbsp | raisins |
50 g | walnuts, chopped |
1 pinch(es) | cinnamon |
8 | apples |
600 g | puff pastry, frozen |
2 | eggs, separated |
some | milk |
powdered sugar |
Instructions
Mix the softened butter with sugar, raisins, a pinch of cinnamon and the walnuts. Peel the apples, cut out the core with an apple corer and fill the raisin mixture into the apples.Roll out the thawed puff pastry ito 8 squares. Put ever an apple in the middle of the squares and brush the edges with egg white. Close the pastry over the apples and firmly press the edges. Make sure that the apples are well sealed. Whisk the egg yolks with a little milk. Brush the apples with the egg wash.
Bake in the preheated oven at 180°C for about 30 minutes.
