Apple puff squares recipe details
Ingredients
1 sheet(s) | rolled puff pastry |
50 g | butter, melted |
½ tsp | mixed spice, ground |
2 | Granny Smith apples, peeled, cored, cut into thin slices |
2 tbsp | brown sugar |
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 180°C.Cut the pastry into 4 equal squares and place place them on a flat baking tray
Combine the butter, spice and sugar. Whisk to combine and then brush half of the mixture over the pastry squares.
Place the apple slices on top of the pastry squares, leaving a border of 1 cm around each square. Brush squares with the remaining mixture.
Bake in the oven for about 15 minutes.
Serve with ice cream, hot vanilla sauce or whipped cream.
