Prepare the meat and season it

Prepare the meat by cutting it into small strips. The strips should be 0,5 cm wide and about 5 cm long. Cut all in similar size. Add to bowl. Season with little salt, pepper, 2 minced garlic, some soy sauce (to taste, can be up to 5 spoon). Let it rest for 2 hours (1 hour minimum). Optionally, you can also add some chopped ginger to it.

      Prepare onion and leek

On side, prepare onions and leek. Cut onion in half, then cut the halves into 0,5 cm strips. Cut the leeks in 0,5 cm pieces as well. Use all parts of the leek - the white and the green.

      Prepare the rice

Cook your favourite rice. It can be regular rice or yasmine rice. In fact any rice will do, but it is best to use rice that sticks together. More on rice can be found here. Cook it as designated. Rinse, set aside.

      Pre-grill the meat

Preheat a pan. It can be any pan, but cast iron pan or wok pan would work best. Heat it to high temperature. Add sunflower oil. Add beef and grill the meat. Grill for few minutes, then stir, so meat will be evenly grilled on both sides. Once water starts to pour out of meat grill for only 1 more minute or so (so that water begins to evaporate) and then remove the meat from the pan. Let it rest on the side.

Use same pan to quickly stirfry the onion

Add all onion at once. Stirfry it until it gets a little soft. Add meat back to the pan. Add minced 1 clove of garlic. Wait few moments so you can smell the garlic. Add some soy sauce (5 spoons). Add 2 spoons of corn starch to the mixture. Add some water. Cook for a little bit until it the sauce thickens. Once desired thickness is reached remove pan from heat.
