White wine sauce recipe details
Ingredients
5 tbsp | dry white wine |
100 g | butter, ice-cold, diced |
1 tsp | lemon juice |
1 pinch(es) | lemon zest |
salt and freshly ground black pepper |
Instructions
In a small saucepan heat the wine. Simmer until reduced by halve. Reduce the heat and whisk in by and by the cold butter pieces until the sauce has slightly thickened.Remove the saucepan from the heat. Stir in lemon juice and zest and season to taste with salt and pepper. Serve immediately with fish or veal.
