Prune soup recipe details
Ingredients
250 g | prunes, pitted |
1 | cinnamon stick |
8 | cloves |
250 g | sour cream |
1 tbsp | flour |
50 ml | plum brandy |
1 l | water |
salt and pepper to taste |
Instructions
Heat the water in a saucepan over medium heat. Add the prunes and bring to a boil. Place the cinnamon stick and cloves into a spice-ball and add to the soup. Cook until the prunes are soft. Discard the spices.Whisk the sour cream with the flour until smooth, then whisk the cream mixture into the prune soup and cook stirring for some minutes. Season to taste with salt, pepper and plum brandy and serve hot.
