Pork with star fruit recipe details
Ingredients
1 tbsp | butter, softened |
440 g | pork cutlets |
salt and pepper, to taste | |
1 large | star fruit, sliced |
120 ml | beef stock |
120 ml | orange juice |
230 ml | whipping cream |
2 tbsp | fresh coriander, chopped |
2 tsp | orange peel, grated |
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 100°C.In a pan, fry the pork in the butter for about 4-6 minutes per side. Place the cutlets in a serving dish and season with salt and pepper. Place the dish in the oven.
In the same pan, cook the star fruit slices over medium heat for 2 minutes per side. Place the star fruit slices over the pork.
Stir the beef stock, orange juice and whipping cream into the pan and cook over medium heat until reduced by half. Stir in the coriander and the orange peel. Cook over low heat for 4 more minutes.
Pour the sauce over the pork and the star fruit slices and serve.
