Papaya sorbet with ginger recipe details
Ingredients
ginger, 1 cm | |
100 ml | orange juice, freshly pressed |
300 g | sugar |
300 g | papaya pulp of a ripe papaya |
3 tbsp | lemon juice |
300 ml | milk |
Instructions
Peel and finely grate the ginger. Heat the orange juice with sugar and ginger until the sugar has dissolved. Cover and allow to cool.Pour the orange juice through a fine sieve, then mix with papaya pulp and lemon juice. Stir in the milk. Pour the mixture into an ice cream machine and process until frozen.
Note:
You may substitute the papaya by a ripe mango.
