Mixed stewed meat recipe details
Ingredients
1 kg | mixed lean meats: beef, veal, pork, sausages, diced |
6 tbsp | butter |
2 clove(s) | garlic, minced |
3 medium | onions, chopped |
240 ml | dry white wine |
salt and pepper, to taste |
Instructions
Melt the butter in a saucepan and sauté the garlic for 1 mintue. Discard garlic and add chopped onion. Sauté onion until tender but not brown.Add the meat and let it brown evenly. Add half of the wine and cook for 10 minutes, until reduced. Add the remaining wine and cook until meat is cooked through and wine is reduced again. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
Serve with polenta.
