Ham and cheese bake recipe details
- Ingredients
- 16 slices bread, crusts cut off (Pepperidge Farm)
- 16 slices ham
- 16 slices cheese (American or Swiss)
- 6 eggs
- 3 cups milk
- 1/2 teaspoon onion salt
- 1/4 teaspoon dried mustard
- 1/2 cup butter
- 3 cups crushed corn flakes
Grease a 9 x 13 baking dish. Layer in following order; bread, ham, cheese, repeat. Beat together eggs, milk and seasonings. Pour mixture over layers. Melt butter in large skillet, add corn flakes and toss to coat. Sprinkle over ham and cheese bake. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
Bake at 400 degrees for 40 minutes.
