- 3 ripe plantains, peeled and sliced diagonally into 1/2-inch pieces

Prep: 10 mins | Cook: 5 mins1. Pour 3 tablespoons oil into a large skillet and set over medium-high heat. Cook plantains in hot oil for about 4 minutes, flipping midway through cooking time, until they are browned.
