Cinnamon raisin biscuits details
- Ingredients Biscuits:
- 2-1/2 cups baking mix (Bisquick)
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/3 cup butter or margarine
- 2/3 cup milk
- 1/3 cup raisins
- 2 Tablespoons sugar
- Glaze:
- 2/3 cup powdered sugar
- 1 Tablespoon warm water
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla
Cut margarine into small chunks and mix with baking mix using fork. Add cinnamon, milk, and raisins. Put on floured surface and knead 6 or 7 times. Pat to 1/2-inch thickness or so and cut. Bake at 450 degrees for about 9 or 10 minutes. Mix together glaze ingredients and drizzle over warm biscuits.
