Broccoli quiche recipe details
Ingredients
400 g | fresh broccoli florets |
2 | onions, chopped |
120 g | mushrooms, sliced |
4 | eggs, beaten |
450 g | rice |
100 g | Swiss cheese, shredded |
100 g | Cheddar cheese, shredded |
salt and pepper | |
120 g | half and half |
Instructions
Chop onions, wash and cut broccoli, sclice mushrooms and combine all vegetables in greased 10-inch quiche dish or pie plate.Cover and cook on maximum power for 5 minutes.
Cook rice. Blend eggs and half and half in a medium bowl. Add cooked rice, cheeses, salt, and pepper; stir and mix well.
Pour mixture over vegetables and stir gently. Cook uncovered on medium power for about 9 to 11 minutes.
Let stand 10 minutes to cool.
