Ready in: 5 mins
Ingredients
Serves: 1- 1/4 cup flour
- 1/4 cup white sugar
- 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 1 egg
- 3 tablespoons milk
- 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
Preparation method
Prep: 2 mins | Cook: 3 mins1. Stir together the flour, sugar, and cocoa powder until evenly blended, then set aside. Beat the egg in a small bowl, then whisk in the milk, oil, and vanilla extract. Stir in the flour mixture until just incorporated and only small lumps remain. Pour into a microwave-safe mug.
2. Cook in the microwave until cooked through. This will take about 3 to 4 minutes depending on your microwave. The cake will rise up as it cooks, but shouldn’t overflow unless your cup is very small.
3. If you like a liquid center, or molten chocolate cake, try microwaving it a little less.
