250 g All purpose flour
200 mL Yogurt
1 tsp Salt
1 tsp Baking powder

Simple Pita Bread

Comes in handy when you're out of bread.

Dough:

In a bowl mic together the flour, salt and baking powder.
Add the yogurt.

Using a kitchen robot, knead the dough for approximately 10 min at low to medium speed.

Transfer the dough to the kitchen counter.
Make it nice and round.

Divide it into 8 equal parts.
Shape the 8 parts into small balls.
Stretch each small ball into a circle the size of your pan.

Frying:

Heat the pan on medium heat.
Add a tablespoon of oil.

Bake each circle on the oil, a few minutes per side or until it starts inflating.
Turn the pita bread around and bake it on the other side.

Repeat for all pita breads.

Tip:

These pita breads can be used when you are out of bread, need something to use with your dip, or as a base for Mexican tortillas, falafel, or even Greek gyros.
