Preparation:Peel the onion, the garlic and the carrots. |

Cut the onion and garlic in small pieces, and the carrots in circles. |

In a pot add 3 tbsp olive oil and heat it. Add the onion and fry it until it becomes golden. Add the garlic and stir until it starts smelling. |

Add the carrots and fry for a few minutes on medium heat. |

Cooking:Pour the contents of 1 tin of lentil (with the water) in the pan. Cook for 15 minutes on medium heat. Add salt and pepper to taste. |

Add the other tin of lentil (with the water) to the pot. Cook for 30 more minutes. |

Tip:Lentil soup can be eaten as a main vegetarian dish or, in smaller portions, as a soup. |
