Honey plum sauce recipe details
Ingredients
500 g | plums, pitted, chopped |
120 ml | honey |
60 ml | lemon juice |
2 tbsp | minced onion |
1 tsp | grated lemon zest |
½ tsp | ginger root |
¼ tsp | salt |
¼ tsp | cloves, ground |
¼ tsp | allspice |
salt and pepper, to taste |
Instructions
Combine all ingredients in a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil over low heat and simmer for 15 minutes.Puree mixture in a blender, adjust sweetness, adding more honey if necessary. Return to saucepan and simmer for 5 minutes.
