1 1/2 cup sour cream
1 1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 cup butter, unsalted
1 cup granulated sugar
2 eggs
1/2 cup raisins
1 3/4 cup flour
2 tsp cinnamon
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup walnuts, chopped

Directions

1.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease and flour 9 inch loaf pan.

In a large bowl mix together sour cream and baking soda. Set aside for a few minutes.

Add melted butter, granulated sugar, eggs and raisins. Mix together until the ingredients mix nicely.

In a small bowl mix together flour, baking powder, 1 tsp cinnamon and salt.

Add the ingredients from the small bowl to the ingredients in the large bowl. Mix.

Put the batter in the greased pan.

Mix together 1 tsp cinnamon, brown sugar and chopped walnuts. Sprinkle over the batter.

Bake the bread for 1 hour at 350 degrees F or until a wooden toothpick comes out clean.

Take the bread out of the oven and let it cool in the pan for 15 min. Place it on a wire rack to cool completely
