1 1/2 cup Sour cream

1 1/2 tsp Baking soda

1/2 cup Butter, unsalted

1 cup Granulated sugar

2 Large eggs

1/2 cup Raisins

1 3/4 cup All purpose flour

2 tsp Baking powder

1/4 cup Brown sugar

1/4 cup Walnuts, chopped

Preparation:Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease and flour 9 inch loaf pan. |

Batter:In a large bowl mix together sour cream and baking soda. Set aside for a few minutes. |

Add melted butter, granulated sugar, eggs and raisins. Mix together until the ingredients mix nicely. |

In a small bowl mix together flour, baking powder, 1 tsp cinnamon and salt. |

Add the ingredients from the small bowl to the ingredients in the large bowl. Mix. |

Baking:Put the batter in the greased pan. |

Mix together 1 tsp cinnamon, brown sugar and chopped walnuts. Sprinkle over the batter. |

Bake the bread for 1 hour at 350 degrees F or until a wooden toothpick comes out clean. |

Take the bread out of the oven and let it cool in the pan for 15 min. Place it on a wire rack to cool completely |

Serving:Optional: Before serving, sprinkle powdered sugar on top of the bread. |
