Preparation:Put the sugar in a pan and bring it to boil on a medium heat. Mix constantly so it will melt equally. |

Once the sugar melts, it will become golden brown. |

Add the whipping cream and salt (if using). The mixture will become bubbly. Max constantly until it liquifies again. |

Add the butter. Mix again until all ingredients combine. |

Boil the mixture for a few minutes. Remove from heat. |

Pour the salted caramel sauce in a jar. Let it cool completely. |
