50 g Butter, softened
70 g Brown sugar
1 Vanilla honey, maple syrup
50 mL Fresh orange juice Clementine or mandarin juice
100 g Dark chocolate
100 g Nuts, chopped hazelnuts, walnuts, almonds
50 g All purpose flour
A pinch of salt
1 tsp Baking powder

Preparation:

Preheat the oven to 170 degrees C.

Melt the chocolate in a microwave.
Let it cool slightly.

Batter:

In a bowl mix the softened butter, sugar and vanilla.

Add the eggs and mix again.

Add the rest of the ingredients (orange juice, nuts, chocolate, flour, baking powder, salt) to the bowl and whisk until all ingredients combine.

Grease a 24 cm baking pan with butter.

Pour the batter into the pan and make it even.

Bake for 30 min or until a toothpick inserted inside the cake comes our clean.

Serve at room temperature.
